Easter, Michigan style

Happy Easter to everybody, hope you all have a great holiday and that the Easter Bunny visited your house. We have been having a great weekend, and even got 6 inches of snow to enjoy. Anna's sister is visiting with her two kids for the weekend, so we are having fun with cousins too!
Yesterday we have a little easter egg hunt outside. We had it planned ahead of time, and then of course it snowed the night before. We decided to still do it anyway and it turned out to be fun for all.

Here is a shot of all the kids getting ready to hung for eggs.

Pretty easy to find the bright colored eggs in the white snow.

Jayda showing off her basket of eggs and getting ready to go inside. It was fun, but too cold to spend hours outside like she might want to.

Happy Easter to all!

Happy Easter! We too woke up to snow on the ground. However, we opted for the inside easter egg hunt!

Okay, I had to laugh about this! Not really because it is funny but because I remember all of those cold Michigan Easters when I wondered why I was putting my girls in cute spring dresses when it was so cold outside;-) Easter Egg hunting in the snow! That is one for the memory books.

Oh Wow! Those pictures are, of course, very cute, but also soooooooooo cold!! I've never seen anything like it. The poor girl dressed in a snow suit and looking for easter eggs in the snow???? The California girl in me just thinks that can not be right!

I'm glad you all had a good holiday.
