Taxes...

I'm not really into politics, and never really get into the issues or battles much, so I am surprised that I even want to post about something political. I am sure many of you have watched the democratic and republican conventions, and that you have your opinions on the various issues, etc....
Today I came across this chart about the different tax plans of McCain and Obama. It compares the income of an individual and how the tax plans of each candidate would effect that income. I thought it was interesting and maybe you will too....

You've made up my mind. I'm voting for Spencer Todd Allen. He promised "NO MORE TAXES!"

Could you make one of these for all of the issues? Then maybe I could decide who is the lesser of the evils.

As an unashamed Obama suporter, I say "Here here!!" Todd! This Graph came from a study by The Brookings Institute. Anyone whop wants to see it, get in touch with me!And a Reply to "Amydear's" comment: I don't know you, but if you need help making up your mind, let me try to convince you that for the first time since I have been of voting age, it is not about choosing the lesser of two evils! We finally have the option for true leadership!!

Todd and Anna,
Great chart!! I don't get into politics much either, but this is really interesting. In the long run, it's actually the middle class whose going to get the brunt of it all, no matter who becomes president. Since the majority of the population falls under "middle class", and if most of the "upper class" are the business owners (providing jobs for the middle and lower class), therefore raising taxes on them will only in turn force an increase of cost in goods and services.. who will this affect? I think McCain has the right idea with lowering taxes for everyone, not engaging in class warfare...

On another note, we miss your girls and want to get together again soon. We'd still love to get that croissant recipe!!! :)

See you at work tomorrow.
